Updates here and there.
During this autumn we have been taking part in some catshows: sisters Kimallus and Kimmellys made their show-debut in Rurok catshow in Southern Finland: both girls were nominated and in the end Kimallus was chosen BIS-Kitten. It was so nice to tell this kind of news to her new owners Corinne and Aline of Mariol's cattery!
Congratulations also to Kelmikerhon Ihan emonsa, who was nominated in her first show in Turku, well done Lyyli! This bluepointed beauty is Marika's sunshine in Baila-Bailan Cattery.

Kelmikerhon Aino A.
Aino was the very first kitten born in our cattery. But this wasn't the only
thing making her so special: she was one of those cats, who create stories! Last
summer we celebrated her 15th birtday with friends..but this spring our precious
didn't have strenght to check her favouritepath in the garden..nor taste her own
special springplant. It had come time to let her go. Aino is sleeping under our
pinetree in the garden, wrapped gently in skyblue silk.. and is deeply missed.

With Prinsessa's
litter Kelmikerho celebrates our 28th siamese-litter. Aino A., who is very first
kitten born in our cattery, will be 15 years old this fall. After her birth we
have been giving names to 93 kittens, in alphaphetical order from A to Ö...and
have been privileged to get to know these cat-persons as well as their new
familymembers.
Our "anniversary litter" got their names after a tanka, poem type of eastern origin. As Prinsessa gave us six kittens, our poem has also title. Every kitten-name forms one line in this poem + the title of course.

Kelmikerhon Oikea Prinsessa dated Kelmikerhon Qsenkerkkä. Kittens were born
19.4.06, three girls and two boys. Kittens and their mom are doing fine and some
hints of colour has already appeared: two of the girls and one of the boys are
sealpointed, two kittens are bluepoints. More info and pedigree at

IC Kelmikerhon Nti Nurinkurin
Kelmikerhon Nti Nurinkurin and Bluskeyes Rhythm&Blue-of-Kelmikerho both
have now new title International Champion! And as a souverier from a very nice
show in Tallinn, Estonia, Neiti brought home a Best In Show-adult trophy!
At the same weekend there was a big catshow in Tampere, Finland. Kelmikerhon
Koh-i-Noor was nominated to the panel, congratulations!

Sad news! Today we have been forced to say goodbye to our very first siamese
CH Apinanpalan Beatnikille, aka Emoli. She was almost 14 years old and we
would have loved to see her "go wild" in the garden also next summer -
unfortunately it wasn't meant to be.

Wellcome Blue-Iam's
Galadriel!
We have a new bluepointed siamesegirl in our cattery! Galadriel's mom is an
English lady and there are also several interesting imported cats in the
pedigree of her handsome father. As she is the only girl in her litter and
turned out to be a real beauty, it was absolutely impossible to say no to Maud's

Another BIS 6-10 months -result for Kelmikerhon Nti Nurinkurin. We are very
proud of her, as the concurrence was really hard, lots of nice kittens at this
show!

We had a lovely day in Rurok-catshow in Helsinki:
Both Bluskeyes Rhythm&Blue-of-Kelmikerho and young Kelmikerhon Nti
Nurinkurin got nominated...Rytmi was chosen BOX-adult and Neiti BIS-kitten 6-10
months! We are so proud of our girls.
Rytmi also gained her third CAC-certificate and has now title Champion.
